It turns out Mickey Guyton has been acquiring a lot of “Nice Things” lately. Not only does she have a new single, she has as new husband, Grant Savoy!
According to Guyton’s social media post and an article in PEOPLE, Guyton and longtime love, Savoy, tied the knot back in June (June 26, 2017) at a small ceremony in Kauai, Hawaii. With only twenty-three family members and friends in attendance, Guyton said “I do.”
Guyton explained to PEOPLE that what originally was supposed to be a family vacation quickly turned to wedding planning when she realized the perfect opportunity in front of her to have a dream intimate ceremony.
We got married in front of 23 family and friends on the beach. It was absolutely gorgeous! My husband has family from Kauai so it was important to him to have a luau at the wedding reception.
Guyton and Savoy have been together for over seven years, introduced by her best friend and his stepsister. Guyton and those closest to her have kept the secret about the nuptials for over a month, finally releasing the information on social media that has had the “Better Than You Left Me” singer-songwriter bursting at the seams.

In conjunction with sharing the news of her wedding and the beautiful photos, Guyton has also released a brand new single, “Nice Things.” Penned by Guyton, along with Liz Rose and Stephanie Chapman, the simple track was described by the singer as being akin to ripping a page out of her diary and reading it to the world.
Congratulations to Mickey Guyton on her recent big life moments. We wish Guyton and Savoy a lifetime of happiness.
