Smothered, Covered, and– Is That Chris Janson?

Chris Janson showed up at a Waffle House

Chris Janson has made it well-known that he loves Mountain Dew. But it seems he’s also a fan of Waffle House. The singer posted a picture of himself at Waffle House– but he wasn’t just eating there.

No, it looks like Chris Janson was jumping behind the counter to serve up some food earlier this week. Can you imagine walking into Waffle House for a meal, and seeing your favorite country star making your hash browns?!

Janson spent the day at Waffle House to promote a sweepstakes. The singer partnered with the restaurant chain as well as TouchTunes– a jukebox company that has its jukeboxes in Waffle House locations– to give away tickets to CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee.

Chris Janson can fix you a nice full plate of Waffle House food, and he can also “Fix a Drink,” as his new single says. After a long period with no new music coming from the singer, he finally released the song earlier this month, and fans can’t get enough.

The tune is perfectly laid back for summer, and talks about all the problems we can’t fix… but we can fix a drink instead! It’s sure to become another hit for Janson, who originally took country music by storm with “Buy Me a Boat” in 2015.

Janson is not only partnering with the sweepstakes to give away CMA Fest tickets– he’s also going to play the massive festival in Nashville, Tennessee in early June. He’ll join dozens of other country artists that week, and play in front of thousands of fans who flock to Music City, U.S.A. for country music’s biggest party.

And hey, you never know when Chris Janson might show up at the Waffle House in your town!
