RaeLynn Shares Acoustic Version of Single “Queens Don’t”

RaeLynn‘s current single, and her first since the successful release of her debut full-length album, Wild Horse, “Queens Don’t,” is grabbing the attention of many. The single comes on the heels of her acclaimed singles “Love Triangle” and “Lonely Call,” which were the first two songs she released to radio under her Warner Music Nashville contract.

The empowering tune, “Queens Don’t,” is about being a classy lady and realizing that acting royal doesn’t require that you wear a crown is climbing the charts and receiving accolades from fans, radio, and celebrities, alike. With the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just around the corner, the singer-songwriter has released an acoustic performance of the song. Not only is the track stripped down; it was filmed by RaeLynn, using her iPhone, while she sat in her home in a t-shirt.

The Warner artist took the opportunity to remind women everywhere that we are all queens, even if we aren’t saying “I do” to royalty this weekend when she shared the video on her social media.

As if this unexpected treat wasn’t enough to make RaeLynn’s and our week one to remember, actress Jada Pinkett Smith gave the starlet a shout out on Twitter for releasing this jewel of a song.

Needless to say, the artist behind the song felt the love from someone she considers a queen, humbly thanked her for the support, and complimented her in return. This response is the sign of being a true queen, if you ask us.
