Kane Brown Popped the Question

… and she said YES!

Country singer Kane Brown is engaged!

Country newcomer Kane Brown has been awfully busy building a following in country music lately… but not too busy for love. According to a video taken at Brown’s recent concert and posted to Twitter, the singer is now engaged!

A Twitter user recorded Brown as he made the announcement from the stage at a show, as you can see in the video below.

“Some people found out on Instagram today,” he says, adding that he later deleted the social media post in reference, “but I just got engaged to a girl from Philadelphia.” The crowd cheers in support for the singer as he says this was the first time he’s officially announced the news.

Brown kept his love life away from the spotlight of social media until earlier this year, when he posted a picture of his then-girlfriend, now-fiancée on his Instagram. The singer must have known he might have some heartbroken fans on his hands when he made it clear he was a taken man, and he addressed that in the post, saying that his true fans wouldn’t be upset, but would accept that he was happy in a relationship.

Brown took his fiancée as his date to the recent ACM Awards, and both were glowing with happiness in photos. Brown was amongst five talented country music men who were nominated for the award of New Male Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.

With the love of his life by his side, Kane Brown is just getting started on his country music career. He released his self-titled debut album in late 2016. The album included a duet with country superstar Lauren Alaina, as the two grew up in the same hometown in north Georgia.

Brown is building his fan base slowly but surely, and he’s determined to stay close to the country roots he loves. He recently tweeted a video of himself singing Randy Travis’ “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and Randy Travis himself replied to express his approval!

Congratulations, Kane Brown! Listen to his newest single, “What Ifs,” featuring Lauren Alaina, below.
