Happy Anniversary to Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher!

The couple is celebrating seven years of marriage today

Carrie Underwood

When Carrie Underwood was first starting her career as a single lady, fans knew it would take one very special man to win the heart of such a powerful and talented woman. In 2008, she met hockey player Mike Fisher through a mutual friend, and with that, she had finally met her match!

The couple dated for more than a year, and they were finally married on July 10, 2010 in Georgia. They’ve been going strong ever since, and today marks seven years of marriage!

While we’re sure they’ve had their share of struggles along the way– just like the rest of us– Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are each other’s number one fans. Underwood is always posting on social media to praise her professional athlete husband, and she ramped up her encouragement and support even more earlier this year. Fisher’s team, the Nashville Predators, played in the Stanley Cup Finals, and Carrie Underwood was seen in the stands at nearly every single game!

The two also have a son together. Isaiah Michael Fisher was born in early 2015, and rounds out the couple’s beautiful family.

Although they’re in two different worlds of country music and professional sports, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are both at the top of their game these days. With seven years of marriage under their belts, it’s safe to say their success spans both their professional AND personal lives.
