If anyone ever tells you that going to Las Vegas for the ACM Awards is all work and no play for the artists, they are pulling your leg. Last night, Cassadee Pope posted a photo to her Instagram, proving that the artists who make the trek to Sin City are definitely enjoying their time away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville.
Pope, along with newlywed and award-winner Maren Morris and “Queens Don’t” singer RaeLynn, took a break from radio remotes and industry-related events to attend the Justin Timberlake concert at T-Mobile Arena.
The picture above with Pope, Morris, and RaeLynn shows the three female powerhouses celebrating music and life. Pope’s picture caption cleverly and appropriately included RaeLynn’s new single title as a hashtag, showing again that the girls in country music truly do support one another’s careers.
The 53rd annual ACM Awards will take place tonight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The show will air live on CBS at 8:00pm ET. The event marks the first time a large country music gathering has taken place back in Vegas since the October 1, 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting.
Fans can expect stellar performances by some of country music’s most acclaimed acts, including a new song by Carrie Underwood, “Cry Pretty.” Also slated to make appearances are Reba McEntire as host; Sugarland as presenters; and Chris Janson as show closer.
Tune into the ACM Awards tonight and let us know on social media what you are enjoying during the live broadcast. We would love to hear your favorite show moments!
