The 51st Annual CMA Awards were celebrated in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

During the program lost lives were remembered when Carrie Underwood sang “Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, Calling for you and for me. See, on the portals, He’s waiting and watching. Watching for you and for me.”

Brad Paisley and Underwood reprised their roles as super hosts for the big event.

Keith Urban delivered his brand new single, “Female,” and super pop star Pink even took the Bridgestone Arena stage.

Once again, country superstar Garth Brooks won the biggie, Entertainer of the Year. He carried the title last year, as well.

“The most important thing other than God himself are you — the people that allow us to be in the greatest music ever — country music,” Brooks told the audience.

Chris Stapleton picked up the Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year and Brothers Osborne won Music Video of the Year and Vocal Duo of the Year.
